Wow Annita! This page which lists all the items by vegetable-wise is too good. I had trouble in finding out the tomato in curd gravy which you published few months back. I tried it two days back and it came very well! I am planning to start trying all the vegetarian dishes you have posted as I am a veggy and got bored of the dishes I know :)

Thanks a lot Madhuri.Try it out and let me know about it.
Wishing you a happy New year

    Hi Anita

I have been following your blog for sometime now & I must commend you on the receipes you’ve put up n the photographs taken are excellent. I have also followed the links to your blog to other foodies. I was so excited about finding this Blog community coz it made me feel so close to Kerala, though most of the fellow bloggers are not actually in Kerala, but seems like they are hardcore mallus or S. Indians & love to keep up the tradition. You all have really inspired me to do the same, & taking lead from you all I have opened a blog called http://www.nostalgicaboutkerala.blogspot.com.

I have posted two blogs on it, but I am confused about how to go about inviting people to be part of my blog & make new friends…I would like to be an active part of this online Mallu foodie community.

Can you please help ?? I would be really obliged.

    Hi Shella,
i’ll surely add your link to my blog…I think that might help..

    Hi Anitta
Thanks a lot for this wonderful blog. I have been using it for while and in my opinion it is the best out there for kerala food. Your recipes actually work :)I guess that is because you yourself have tried all of them. They are all well written with fine details. So thanks.
I have a small question too- in many of your recipes you talk about griding dry and often small quantites of ingradients. What do you use for that? I don’t think i can get a traditional stone grinder here in US :(

Thank you and Welcome to my blog Deepu…
And about the grinder,I’m using an Indian style 3 jar Preeti mixie which i bought online. It has a little jar that helps me to grind in small quantities.

    Hi Anita,

Being a “displaced malayalee” myself, I was indeed delighted to come across your blog site. Years of living in the US(CA)has taken a toll on the authencity of my Indian cooking. Browsing through your recipes brought back that old familiar sense of nostalgia. Long forgotton recipes have awakened the taste buds and has me rearing to go and try out some of my favorites; which I am happy to see have been posted! Finally, I have found a place to go to when I want to cook like a Keralite.

Excellent job on the presentation of the site. The easy to follow and detailed intructions are just great. Enjoyed your photographic skills too! Keep up the good work.
